Our plans to improve navigation on GOV.UK

Really interesting to get some insight into how a site this large manages a major refresh. The sites I work on are dwarfed in comparison to how much content they need to manage and provide access to, but it does cause me to re-examine them a bit. I do like their new menu; it reminds me of an article from CSS-Tricks arguing for getting rid of hover effects for navigation. That’s also something I’d like to explore in the future.
